we work out this sweet line up with terry mullan and paul birken and tommy sunshine. then much to our surprise terry is booked in madison, wi. on the same night for a milehigh mega-event. well this can't be. we had terry's personal commitment. he said that he was coming to fargo. all is chaos right? no! we keep our cool. phone calls are made (a lot of phone calls). no one knows anything for a long time. then communique is established and terry decides to go to madison. it turns out his booking agent booked him for madison the same day. terry didn't even know that he was suppose to play in madison until we told him. i guess terry flakes out on his booking agent too.

now panic is ensuing. we decide to keep it hush-hush (which is very hard in fargo) and think of a perfect plan. a perfect plan but a very insane plan. it's decided we'll line up a private flight and fly terry to fargo after he's finished in madison. it's great. madison will be happy. fargo will be happy. there will be happy party people all over the midwest. so more phone calls are made and remade. the pilot and plane are lined up.

terry says no. back to the phones.

so we need a plan. a plan more perfect then the private flight plan. we need paul johnson . . . (but then doesn't every one)

a phone call is placed to dusttraxx records in chicago. we book and contract paul johnson. his is huge we thought we were over doing it with terry, but paul johnson. this man rarely leaves chicago and we're quite sure he's never been to fargo. i wonder if paul's ready for fargo? fargo - are you ready?

two new sections have been added to the gallery: 'submissions' and 'footloose'. within the week we should have three quicktime movies from the 'footloose' event availible for your scrutiny.

to reiterate there will be another rrr event on the 28th or april. it's a tonewrecker recordings release party featuring terry mullan, tommy sunshine and paul birken.

check out the 'happening' and submit us your photos from other rrr events. if you don't have any pics from rrr events send us pictures of parties that the fargo 'party patrol' may have missed out on.

31:MAR:2001 <-- no foolin' -->
it's been a while. however, something wicked this way comes. on saturday the 28th of april redriverrising is bringing another first to fargo. many have talked about bringing this mid-west all-star (and although we are not above naming names we've decided not to). this all-star is of pioneer status and should not be missed. he's a catalyst recording artist and has released a fistful of mixed cds and a crate full of records, but wait. . . there's more.

we've also lined up another first. but you'll have to go to the 'happening' to find out more.

for all of you who feel left out because you don't have a super-cool rrr.sticker it's okay we ordered more and they should be here post haste. in other important fargo news. redriverrising will be announcing it's 'party patrol' this summer so be on the look-out.

28:JAN:2001 <-- damn gallery -->
finally some progress has been made with the gallery. there are 5 different galleries. we tried to group them by event. the gallery is by no means complete but now we are going to start production on the party archive.

rumors are spreading around that rrr will be throwing a event in downtown fargo in late april. we have no confirmations as of yet. we will keep you posted. in the mean time enjoy the gallery. thanks to samh.net for all the help with the gallery and special thanks to dj deuce for supplying the tunes during production.

yeah yeah. it's way after (se)xmas and still no photo gallery. you'd think we had day jobs or something. anybody who has asked for sticker after the 17 of dec. will have to wait a bit. hopefully not as long as you'll have to wait for the stinking photo gallery. do you smell another local-only party brewing? keep your eyes and ears open. something wicked this way comes.

we decided that selling stickers is lame so we will probably just hand them out for free @ events. if you see them i a store around town you'll most likely have to pay for them. however, if your patient you'll probably get one for free.

production on the photo gallery has started. you will be seeing some progress after (se)xmas.

17:DEC:2000 <-- you had your chance...
now there is no way in hell your going to get a free sticker from us. now you have to pay and you'll pay big. you'll pay with your soul or just one dollar you decide. we'll get you more info about ordering directly from our huge sticker warehouse in northern iowa in a week or so.

it was fun receiving responses from the rrr.mail.list. here are some statistics regarding responses from the sticker offer.

14:DEC:2000 <-- we stole bob barkers birthday cake
so, in the near future rrr will be throwing another spectacular event. it's going to have a bob barker/the price is right theme. think super old models that show overpriced grocery items, oversized price tag name badges for everyone and an mc who wears an outfit louder then the sound system. then right when the party is jumping we'll bring out this huge wheel and spin it.

all right we made that last part up.

this weekend we are expecting to receive some vinyl stickers (that we ordered months ago). when they arrive we are going to send out twenty free ones to our closest friends. mostly we are doing this because some lame ass in iowa thought it would be fun. you see he's really hurting for something to do. so, if you want to be one of our/his closest friends then send the rrr.mail.list your physical address. this exciting offer will be void after 16:DEC:2000. after that we just keep your address and forward all of our junk mail to you.

okay we made that last part up too.

any body who wants to get a sticker after the 16th will have to mail a dollar. no checks. that's right one whole dollar through the mail. diobolical isn't it. we'll give you the information on where to send it later. that way we have the option to change our mind. we'll probably put them at the vinyl connection too. who knows. maybe we won't.

13:DEC:2000 <-- bob barkers birthday was yesterday.
well, here is the template for the new rrr.site. hope you enjoy it. now that the this has been created the rest of the site should trickle in to place. this site is optimized for internet explorer 5 on the mac, but it doesn't really matter what you are on. it will look fine in netscape 4.7. we have no idea what it looks like in aol or on a wintel box and we don't really care because, well, aol sucks and so does anything that isn't a mac. you will need quicktime if you haven't already figured that out. later you may need the flash plug-in.

for the time being we will be working on the party archive and a photo gallery. later we hope to add a members only message board, polls and some local music. right now you're stuck with the 'killer' rrr.arrow logo.
